Description

Jaguar was made as a showcase debut for Nikhil Kumar, son of former Karnataka Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy, and was released in Kannada and Telugu at the same time. Nikhil plays a young man whose ordinary college life hides a secret mission linked to his past, and the film builds towards revealing why he targets the people he does. Jagapathi Babu and Ramya Krishnan add star weight in supporting roles. It was a lavish production by Kannada standards, with stunts, foreign locations and a score by S. Thaman, and the story was credited to V. Vijayendra Prasad, writer of Baahubali.
