Prasad works an ordinary job and has done the arithmetic: schools, hospitals and everything else make a child unaffordable on his salary, so he and his wife Nandini have agreed to wait. When she becomes pregnant anyway, a shaken Prasad decides the product he relied on has failed him, and sues the manufacturer, turning a private matter into a public courtroom battle that embarrasses his family and draws the attention of the media. The film is a comedy with a point about the financial anxiety of middle-class parenthood. Suhas, known for small-budget films with unusual subjects such as Colour Photo, plays the lead, and the film was produced under Dil Raju's banner.
