Fateh Singh is a small-town Punjab Police constable who is far keener on easy living than on police work. Pooja is a sharp, ambitious officer from Canada who arrives in Punjab on an assignment and finds herself stuck with Fateh as her partner. Their clash of temperaments, his chaotic schemes and her impatience drive a string of comic set pieces, while veteran comedian Jaswinder Bhalla adds to the mayhem. Like the first film, it rests on the sparring chemistry of Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa, though it tells a fresh story with new characters. Jatt and Juliet 2 was one of the biggest Punjabi hits of its time and won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Punjabi.
