Jayadev (2017)

Jayadev is an upright, fiery police inspector who is investigating the murder of a fellow officer. The trail leads him to a powerful, ruthless local strongman, and the more Jayadev presses, the more pressure is brought to bear on his career and on the wife and children he loves. The film alternates between his warm, lively home life and the escalating conflict of his job. Jayadev is the Telugu remake of the Tamil hit Sethupathi (2016), and marked the debut of Ganta Ravi, son of Andhra politician Ganta Srinivasa Rao, with Malvika Raaj as his wife. It was directed by Jayanth C. Paranjee, known for Telugu films such as Premante Idera and Takkari Donga.
