Jebu Donga (1987)

Jebu Donga ("Pickpocket") is a 1987 Telugu action entertainer starring Chiranjeevi, then fast becoming the biggest star in Telugu cinema, with Bhanupriya and Radha as his leading ladies. As the title suggests, he plays a light-fingered rogue with a big heart, whose small-time life of tricks is overturned when he is drawn into a conflict with dangerous criminals. The film was directed by A. Kodandarami Reddy, who made many of Chiranjeevi's most popular films of the 1980s, and offers the expected mix of dance numbers, comedy and stylish fights that made the pair so successful.
