Jil (2015)

Jai is a cheerful, brave fire officer who loves his job and his family. During a rescue he saves a dying man who, before he passes away, hands Jai an important secret, and that makes Jai the next target of Chhota Nayak, a brutal gangster from Mumbai. As the gangster's men close in, Jai must protect his loved ones, including Savitri, the young woman he has fallen for, and face the threat head on. The film was a stylish action entertainer with polished camerawork and Ghibran's music, and its hero's profession, rare in Telugu films, gave the action an unusual setting. It was the directorial debut of Radha Krishna Kumar, who later made Radhe Shyam.
