John Jani Janardhan (2016)

John, Jani and Janardhan are three close friends from different faiths who live in the same colony, scrape a living with odd jobs and dream of a trip abroad. Their lives of pranks and petty schemes are disrupted when a child in their neighbourhood is harmed, and they become determined to catch the man responsible. The film is the Kannada remake of the Malayalam hit Amar Akbar Anthony (2015), keeping its mix of buddy comedy and a darker social-thriller turn in the second half. Ajay Rao, Yogesh and Krishna play the three friends.
