Jugaad (2009)

Manoj Bajpayee's hero runs a small but successful advertising agency in Delhi. One morning he finds his office sealed, one of thousands of commercial premises shut down in residential areas during the city's sealing drive. With clients waiting and deadlines looming, he has to keep the business alive from wherever he can, and to get the seal lifted he has to deal with officials, middlemen and fixers, each wanting something. The title is the Hindi word for an improvised fix, a talent every Delhiite is said to possess. Manoj Bajpayee plays the harried hero and Vijay Raaz is memorable as one of the people he must rely on. The film is a light satire on bureaucracy and the everyday corruption of city life.
