Jumbo (2008)

Jumbo is a young elephant who cannot bear to be apart from his mother. When the herd is forced to move on, he sets off alone to find his father, the leader of the royal war elephants, and on the way meets friends, enemies and the boy who will one day become a great king. As he grows, Jumbo must find courage he did not know he had, because a war is coming. Jumbo is the Hindi version of Khan Kluay, a Thai animated film that was a big hit in Thailand, inspired by the legend of the elephant that carried King Naresuan into battle. For India it was redubbed with Akshay Kumar as the voice of Jumbo and Lara Dutta also in the voice cast. It is a simple, colourful adventure for children.
