The hero is a fun-loving young man who wants to pack every experience into his college years, much to the worry of his devoted father, played by Kannada star V. Ravichandran. After college he joins a firm where his superior, played by Genelia D'Souza, takes an instant dislike to him, and the friction between them hides an emotional story linked to the past. Junior was the launch film for Kireeti Reddy and was made in Telugu and Kannada. It marked Genelia's return to Telugu cinema after many years, and Devi Sri Prasad's song "Viral Vayyari", danced by Kireeti and Sreeleela, became a hit.
