Junooniyat (2016)

Suhani, a spirited young woman from a Punjabi family, meets Jahan, an army captain serving in Kashmir, and the two fall headlong in love. Her family, however, has other plans for her, and the couple's love is tested by distance, duty and family pressure, forcing both to decide how much they are willing to fight for it. Junooniyat ("obsession") is a straightforward, music-heavy romance with scenic Kashmir and Punjab settings, directed by Vivek Agnihotri before his political films. It reunited Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam after Sanam Re.
