Kaala Koothu (2018)

Kaala Koothu is a 2018 Tamil drama set in Madurai and directed by M. Nagarajan. It stars Prasanna and Kalaiyarasan, known from Madras, as two close friends, with Dhansika, who acted in Kabali, as the female lead. The story centres on the bond between the friends and the way love and the violence of their surroundings strain it. Its Hindi title, Dosti No.1, points to that friendship at its heart.
