Kalakaar (1983)

Kalakaar ("artist") is a 1983 Hindi romantic drama directed by P. Sambasiva Rao, starring Kunal Goswami, son of Manoj Kumar, with Sridevi in one of her early Hindi films, the same year as Himmatwala made her a star. Rakesh Bedi adds comic support. The film is a music-centred love story, and it is remembered above all for Kalyanji-Anandji's "Neele Neele Ambar Par", sung by Kishore Kumar, which became one of the defining romantic songs of the decade.
