Kannum Kannum (2008)

Kannum Kannum ("eye to eye") is a 2008 Tamil romantic drama and the first film directed by G. Marimuthu, who later became familiar as a character actor. Prasanna plays the hero opposite Udhayathara, in a love story that has to overcome the resistance of the people around the couple. The film is best remembered for Vadivelu's comedy track, in which his character complains to the police that his well has been stolen, a scene that became one of the most quoted comic bits in Tamil popular culture.
