Karthikeya 2 (2022)

Dr. Karthikeya, who believes only in science, visits Dwarka with his mother on a pilgrimage and becomes caught up in the murder of an archaeologist. The dead man was on the trail of Krishna's anklet, a legendary relic believed to hold the key to knowledge that could help humanity, and a shadowy cult and a powerful businessman are hunting for it too. Teaming up with Mugdha, the archaeologist's granddaughter, Karthikeya follows a trail of clues from Gujarat to the Himalayas. A sequel in spirit to the 2014 mystery Karthikeya, the film became a surprise nationwide hit, doing especially well in its Hindi version, and won the National Film Award for Best Telugu Feature. Anupam Kher appears in a key role.
