Monty is a successful singer who is troubled by flashes of a life he does not remember: a man, a house, a beautiful wife and a death. When his tour takes him to a hill town that he recognises from those visions, he learns that he was once Ravi Verma, a wealthy man murdered by his new bride Kamini for his fortune. Now Monty has the chance to take revenge on the woman who killed him, but she is still rich, powerful and dangerous. Karzzzz is Satish Kaushik's remake of Subhash Ghai's 1980 classic Karz, which was itself inspired by the Hollywood film The Reincarnation of Peter Proud. Himesh Reshammiya stars and composed new music while reworking parts of the original score, and Urmila Matondkar plays the scheming Kamini, the role made famous by Simi Garewal.
