Kasam Vardi Ki (1989)

Kasam Vardi Ki ("oath of the uniform") is a 1989 Hindi police action drama directed by Shibu Mitra, a prolific maker of action films in the 1980s. Jeetendra plays a policeman bound by his duty, with Bhanupriya and a young Chunky Pandey in key roles. The title promises the familiar formula of the era's cop films: an honest officer, powerful villains and a fight for justice, with songs and family drama along the way.
