Kashi from Village (2005)

Kashi from Village is a 2005 Kannada film directed by Om Sai Prakash, a director of many family dramas, starring Sudeep, then on the rise after Huccha and Swathi Muthu, with Rakshita as the heroine. As the title suggests, the hero is a straightforward village man whose values are tested when he comes up against city ways, a romance and people who would take advantage of him, and the film mixes family sentiment, comedy, songs and action.
