Kataka (2017)

Kataka is a 2017 Kannada supernatural thriller directed by Ravi Basrur, who also composed its music. Basrur, from coastal Karnataka, became nationally known soon after as the composer of the KGF films, and Kataka was one of his own early directorial projects, made on a small budget with largely new faces including Ashok Raj and Spandana Prasad. It is a supernatural thriller that relies on atmosphere and sound rather than spectacle.
