The hero is a gambler who lives from one bet to the next and has lost far more than money along the way. Owing dangerous people and with nothing left to fall back on, he hatches an audacious plan to strike at the casino world that has controlled his life, while the woman he loves and the men hunting him complicate every move. Kedi ("crook") is a stylish, offbeat crime caper that sees Nagarjuna in a grittier, more morally ambiguous role than usual, with a heist-like structure and a slick visual style. Sandeep Chowta composed the music. It was a box-office disappointment on release but has its admirers for its unusual approach.
