Kerintha follows a group of young friends at college in Hyderabad as they fall in love, chase their dreams and stumble through the confusions of their late teens. One wants to make his parents proud, another is preoccupied with a girl who seems out of reach, and others wrestle with heartbreak and ambition, and the friendships themselves are tested along the way. The film is a light-hearted Telugu coming-of-age drama produced by Dil Raju with a largely young cast, notable for Parvateesam's comic turn as a village boy, and its youthful songs were composed by Mickey J. Meyer.
