Khaidi Rudraiah (1986)

Khaidi Rudraiah ("Prisoner Rudraiah") is a 1986 Telugu action drama directed by A. Kodandarami Reddy, one of the busiest makers of commercial Telugu hits in the 1980s. Krishna plays the title role of Rudraiah, a man who ends up behind bars and, once out, takes on the powerful people responsible for the injustice done to him and those close to him. Sridevi plays the heroine, shortly before her Hindi career took off completely, and Sharada appears in an important supporting role. A typical mid-80s Telugu masala film of fights, family emotion and songs, shown here under its Hindi title Nyay Path.
