Khamoshi (2019)

Surbhi, a young woman who cannot speak or hear, takes a job looking after a grand house in England while its owners are away. Alone in the mansion, she gradually realises she is not alone at all, and that the house holds dark secrets connected to a man, played by Prabhu Deva against his usual image, who is far more dangerous than he appears. Without a voice to call for help, Surbhi must rely on her wits to survive one long night. Directed by Chakri Toleti, who earlier made Unnaipol Oruvan, the Tamil remake of A Wednesday, the film is a cat-and-mouse thriller built around Tamannaah Bhatia's central performance, with Bhumika Chawla in a supporting role.
