Kiraataka (2011)

The hero is the village loafer, forever getting into fights and pranks, who gives his doting mother constant trouble. When he falls for a lively girl from a neighbouring village, he finds that her family and his have history, and the old rivalry between the two villages flares up again as he tries to win her and prove he can be responsible. Kiraataka is the Kannada remake of the Tamil hit Kalavani (2010), which starred Vimal and also had Oviya as its heroine. It was one of Yash's breakthrough hits before he became a pan-Indian star with the K.G.F films, and its earthy village comedy and fights made it a favourite with his fans.
