Kirrak Party (2018)

Krishna arrives at engineering college to have fun with his gang of friends, and falls hard for a senior who seems out of his reach. Their friendship grows into something deeper, but a tragedy changes him, and in the later years of college he becomes an angry, aimless rebel, until a lively junior pushes him to rediscover who he was. The film is the Telugu remake of the Kannada hit Kirik Party (2016), and it reuses B. Ajaneesh Loknath's music from the original. Samyuktha Hegde reprises her role from the Kannada film. Sudheer Varma wrote the screenplay and Chandoo Mondeti the dialogue, and the film tries to capture the warmth and chaos of student life.
