Kittu earns his living through an unusual scam: he snatches the pampered pet dogs of wealthy families and returns them for a reward. When the woman he loves is kidnapped by a dangerous gang, he has to use everything he has learned from his strange trade to get her back, while the police begin to suspect him. Kittu Unnadu Jagratha is a Telugu comedy thriller built around Raj Tarun's easy-going screen persona, with Anu Emmanuel as the heroine. Hindi film actor Arbaaz Khan appears as the villain, and the dogs themselves provide much of the comedy.
