Vijay Raghavan came to Chennai from his village with one goal: to clear the civil-service exams and fulfil his mother's dream of seeing him an IAS officer. While studying, he lives in a crowded colony, gives tuition to the local children and sees how small-time politicians and their goons exploit the residents. When he steps in to help, he is forced into open conflict with powerful men and has to balance his studies against a fight he cannot walk away from. Vijay Antony, a composer turned actor known for socially themed thrillers, plays the lead. The film was released in Telugu as Vijaya Raghavan.
