Korameenu is a 2022 Telugu dark comedy-drama directed by Sripathi Karri and written by its lead actor Anand Ravi. It is set in Jalaripeta, the fishermen's colony of Visakhapatnam, and its story follows how one humiliating incident involving a feared local policeman sets off a hunt for the culprit that drags in ordinary people around him, tangling several lives together. Harish Uthaman and Shatru are in the supporting cast. The title is the name of a local fish. With its coastal setting and its mix of humour and menace, it is an unusual, rooted Telugu film from a small team.
