A series of bold, clever heists hits a gang of corrupt businessmen, and the thief seems to be Shiva, a stylish, untraceable robber. But the man the police keep running into is Satya, a mild, honest accounts officer who swears he knows nothing about it. A determined police officer is convinced the two are connected and sets out to unmask them, while Satya's romance with a young woman complicates everything. Kotigobba 2 was made by Tamil director K. S. Ravikumar as a Kannada-Tamil bilingual, released in Tamil as Mudinja Ivana Pudi. It takes its title from Vishnuvardhan's Kannada hit Kotigobba, and gives Sudeep a showy double-edged role. D. Imman composed the music.
