Kuldip Patwal I Didnt Do It (2018)

Kuldip Patwal: I Didn't Do It! is a 2018 Hindi courtroom drama with Deepak Dobriyal in a rare lead role as Kuldip Patwal, an ordinary man charged with the killing of a politician. As the case goes to court, with Gulshan Devaiah as one of the lawyers and Raima Sen in a key role, the hearings unfold Kuldip's past and the series of humiliations and injustices that shaped him. The film uses the trial to comment on politics, power and how ordinary citizens are treated by the system. Dobriyal, best known for comic and supporting parts in Tanu Weds Manu and Omkara, carries the film with a quiet, intense performance.
