Kuttram 23 (2017)

Assistant Commissioner Vetrimaaran takes up a murder case that soon leads him to a series of other deaths, all of them women who had recently become pregnant, and to a disturbing link with the business of fertility treatment, which touches his own family. Kuttram 23 is a Tamil crime thriller based on a novel by the popular crime writer Rajesh Kumar, and it gave Arun Vijay one of his best-received lead roles after his turn as the villain in Yennai Arindhaal. Arivazhagan, who also made Eeram, keeps the investigation tight and procedural, with Mahima Nambiar as the female lead.
