Lakshmana (2016)

Lakshmana is a 2016 Kannada action drama directed by R. Chandru, the director of Taj Mahal and Charminar. It was made as the launch film of Anoop Revanna, from a prominent Karnataka political family, and pairs him with Meghana Raj, while the veteran star V. Ravichandran plays a key supporting role. The film follows the familiar mass-hero template of a hot-headed young man with a strong sense of right, mixing family emotion, romance and fight scenes. Ravichandran's presence gives the drama much of its weight.
