Parthu grows up with a bow in his hand, trained by his grandfather to become a champion archer. He rises quickly, but a loss in the family and a bad crowd pull him into addiction and self-destruction, and his career collapses. With the help of a coach who still believes in him and the woman he loves, he begins the hard climb back, aiming to compete again at the highest level. Lakshya is one of the few Indian films about archery, and Naga Shaurya transformed his physique for the role, building an eight-pack for the later part of the story. Jagapathi Babu plays his mentor, Ketika Sharma the heroine, and Kaala Bhairava composed the music.
