Description

An episode of Leave It to Beaver, which ran from 1957 to 1963 and was unusual for its time in telling its stories from a child's point of view rather than a parent's. The scrapes Beaver gets into are small — a lost library book, a misunderstood promise — and the series takes them as seriously as he does, which is why it has lasted while most of its contemporaries have not. Season 4, episode 28: "Mistaken Identity".
