Lisaa (2019)

Lisaa wants to persuade her widowed mother to remarry, and as part of her plan she sets off to find her maternal grandparents, who live far away in a remote house. With a friend she arrives to a strange welcome: the old couple are odd, the house is full of sounds and shadows, and nothing is quite what it seems. Lisaa was released in 3D and is one of the few Tamil horror films made in that format, using the house's dark rooms and corridors for its effects. Anjali carries the film in the title role, with Makarand Deshpande as the unsettling grandfather and Yogi Babu for comic relief.
