Love Story 1999 (1998)

Love Story 1999 is a light Telugu romantic entertainer about young love and friendship, with Prabhu Deva and Vadde Naveen as the heroes and Rambha and Laila as the heroines. Romantic mix-ups, rivalry and songs drive the story, in the bright, song-heavy style for which veteran director K. Raghavendra Rao is known. Prabhu Deva, then at the height of his fame as a dancing star, gets several showcase numbers. It is known in Hindi as Ladai Ek Jung.
