Revanth comes from a Dalit family in Armoor, Telangana, and runs a small Zumba and dance studio in Hyderabad. Mounika, from a dominant-caste family of the same village, arrives in the city looking for a job and ends up teaching at his studio. Their partnership turns into love, but both know their families and village will never accept it, and Mounika carries a painful secret about a relative that shapes her fears. Sekhar Kammula, known for Anand and Fidaa, tackles caste discrimination and childhood abuse inside a tender romance. Sai Pallavi's dancing is a highlight, and the folk song "Saranga Dariya" became a viral sensation before release.
