Lovely is a 2012 Telugu romantic comedy directed by B. Jaya, one of the few women directors in mainstream Telugu cinema at the time, and produced by her husband, journalist-producer B. A. Raju. Aadi, son of actor Sai Kumar, plays a cheerful young man whose love story becomes a battle to win over the girl's family, and the film marked the debut of Shanvi Srivastava. Anoop Rubens's songs were popular, and the film's light mix of romance, friendship and family comedy helped establish Aadi as a young romantic lead after his first film Prema Kavali.
