Luck Unnodu (2017)

Luck Unnodu is a Telugu comedy built around Vishnu Manchu as a hero whose life seems to be one long run of bad luck, a theme the title ("the lucky one") plays on ironically. Hansika Motwani, who had paired with him earlier in Denikaina Ready and Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda, returns as the heroine. Mixing romance, slapstick and a crime-comedy track in which money and gangsters enter the hero's life, the film is a light family entertainer of the kind Vishnu Manchu specialised in during the 2010s. It received a lukewarm response and is mostly for fans of the lead pair.
