Maa Baap (1944)

Maa Baap ("Mother and Father") is a 1944 Hindi social drama directed by V. M. Vyas, starring Veena, Nazir and Yakub, three well-known names of the period. As the title suggests, it deals with the bonds and sacrifices between parents and their children. It is a rare surviving film from the studio era of the 1940s; few details of its story are widely documented.
