Macherla Niyojakavargam (2022)

Siddharth Reddy is a bright young IAS officer who, after a happy-go-lucky stint of romance and comedy, is posted as district collector of Guntur. In his district lies Macherla, a constituency where the ruthless Rajappa and his family have ruled for thirty years, with no rival ever daring to file nomination papers. Siddharth decides that this time the people will actually vote, and his determination sets off an all-out war with Rajappa's men. Former film editor M. S. Rajashekhar Reddy made his directing debut with this political mass entertainer, produced by Nithiin's family banner. Samuthirakani plays the menacing strongman, and Anjali appears in the special song "Ra Ra Reddy".
