Madana Manjari (1980)

Madana Manjari is a Telugu folklore fantasy directed by B. Vittalacharya, with Ranganath in the lead and dancer Jayamalini in a prominent role. In the style of Vittalacharya's many fairy-tale films, the story moves through royal courts, enchanted forests, sorcerers and magic spells, with a hero who must overcome supernatural enemies. Simple trick photography, songs and dances are a big part of the entertainment.
