Maharathi (2008)

A wealthy, embittered man lives in a grand house with his much younger wife, in a marriage that has turned cold. When a down-on-his-luck man enters the household as a driver, he finds himself at the centre of a scheme in which a fortune and a death are in play, with a sharp police officer circling. Maharathi is a talky, twisty chamber thriller adapted from a stage play, and it brings together an unusually strong cast of character actors, with Naseeruddin Shah and Paresh Rawal sparring at the centre.
