Manmadhudu 2 (2019)

Sam is a Telugu-born perfumer settled in Portugal who loves women but has no intention of marrying. His mother, sisters and a whole clan of relatives refuse to give up, so Sam strikes a deal with Avanthika, a waitress who needs money, to play the perfect fiancée and then jilt him at the altar, leaving his family too heartbroken to try again. Avanthika, however, charms everybody so thoroughly that the scheme spirals out of control. Manmadhudu 2 borrows its name from Nagarjuna's 2002 hit Manmadhudu, but its story is adapted from the French comedy Prête-moi ta main (2006). Directed by actor-filmmaker Rahul Ravindran, it was shot largely in Lisbon and Portugal, with Rakul Preet Singh as the brash heroine and Samantha and Keerthy Suresh in cameos.
