Marma (2005)

Marma ("mystery") is a 2005 Kannada suspense-horror film directed by Sunil Kumar Desai, a filmmaker known for thrillers such as Tarka and Nishkarsha. Prema stars as a woman caught up in eerie and inexplicable happenings, with Anand in the main male role, and the story builds as a puzzle in which the supernatural and the human are hard to tell apart. As with much of Desai's work, the emphasis is on atmosphere, slow-building suspense and a final reveal rather than gore.
