Description

Mehandi Ban Gai Khoon ('the henna turned to blood') is a 1991 Hindi drama starring Sumeet Saigal and Juhi Chawla, made in the years just after Juhi's breakthrough in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. Its title points to its story, in which a marriage is shadowed by violence and the couple at its centre are drawn into a fight for justice. It is a typical early-1990s mix of romance, family melodrama and action.
