Mera Ghar Mere Bachche (1985)

Mera Ghar Mere Bachche ("my home, my children") is a family drama from 1985 starring Raj Babbar and Smita Patil, who were a couple off screen and appeared together in a number of films in this period, alongside Meenakshi Sheshadri, then a rising star. As the title suggests, the story centres on home and parenthood. It is one of the many films Smita Patil made in her last years, moving between art cinema and mainstream family dramas before her death in 1986.
