Chai, a cheerful young man who lives in Spain, falls for Meera, a fellow Indian, only to discover that she loves someone else. Trying to help her, he becomes involved in her friend's troubles, and the journey takes him back to India and into the life of Chandramukhi, a young woman caught in a bitter feud between powerful families in a village in Andhra. The film mixes romantic comedy abroad with family drama and action back home, the familiar Sreenu Vaitla formula. It stars Varun Tej opposite Lavanya Tripathi and Hebah Patel, with songs by Mickey J. Meyer and scenes shot in Spain. Mister was not a box-office success, but it offers bright foreign locations and a light first half for fans of family entertainers.
