Modern Girl (1961)

Modern Girl is a 1961 Hindi drama starring Pradeep Kumar and Sayeeda Khan. Its story plays on the debate, common in films of the era, between traditional values and the new freedoms of a 'modern' young woman, told through a romance and the family complications around it. It is a little-known black-and-white film, of interest to collectors of early-1960s Hindi cinema and its songs.
