Mogudu (2011)

A young man and woman fall in love and marry with the blessing of both families, but at the wedding a quarrel between the fathers escalates into a slap, and family pride tears the couple apart. Determined not to lose the woman he loves, the husband sets out to heal the rift and prove himself, while egos, relatives and a third person complicate matters. Mogudu ("husband") is a family drama in Krishna Vamsi's trademark style, with a big traditional wedding, folk-flavoured songs and a focus on the clash of egos within joint families. Gopichand, usually seen in action roles, plays a softer part here opposite Taapsee.
